The Police Foundations program offers an excellent career path in community services. This program provides students with the foundation, knowledge and basic skills needed for successful employment in the field of Peace Officer. Students will student a variety of topics ranging from Criminology, and Mental Health & Addictions, to Young Offenders, and First Nations.

Over the course of this program students will take several core courses to help broaden their tool kits for work in police foundations. Modules for this program include issues in diversity, criminal code and federal statutes, police & security, criminology, young offenders, and provincial statutes & investigation.

This program runs 52 weeks, includes certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and students are required to complete 100 hours of community service to supplement their educational experience.
